The Role

This is an end-to-end sales role. You are responsible for building, managing, and closing your own pipeline. That includes prospecting, cold outreach, discovery calls, proposals, follow-up, closing, and a clean handoff into onboarding.

We are not hiring an order-taker. We are hiring someone who can generate opportunities and convert them. While we do produce inbound leads, you should assume you are responsible for putting your own qualified calls on the calendar and turning them into signed clients.

You will be selling strategic, recurring digital marketing services to home service companies across Canada and the United States. This is consultative selling. You must be confident leading conversations, uncovering real business problems, and positioning long-term solutions.

Responsibilities Can Include:

- Prospect and generate your own opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and creative outbound strategies.

- Consistently put qualified discovery calls on your calendar.

- Conduct research to understand prospective clients’ needs, challenges, and goals.

- Run structured discovery calls that uncover real business pain, budget, authority, and urgency.

- Clearly explain SEO, PPC, websites, and digital strategy in simple, outcome-focused language.

- Build customized proposals aligned with client goals and close recurring marketing retainers.

- Maintain disciplined follow-up across multiple touchpoints until a deal is won or lost.

- Manage your pipeline inside GoHighLevel (GHL) with clean tracking and accurate forecasting.

- Build and nurture relationships not only with prospects, but with industry partners, referral sources, and internal team members to create long-term deal flow.

- Ensure a smooth transition from closed-won to onboarding by setting proper expectations and communicating scope clearly.

- Collaborate with marketing and client success to strengthen positioning, messaging, and overall close rates.

- Continuously refine scripts, outreach messaging, and outbound systems to improve performance.

- This role requires someone who can hunt, build trust, and close.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of professional sales experience.

- Minimum 2 years selling digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, paid social, websites, or related services).

- Proven ability to generate your own pipeline, not just work inbound leads.

- Comfortable with cold calling and consistent outbound prospecting.

- Strong understanding of how digital marketing drives ROI for service-based businesses.

- Ability to clearly and confidently explain how SEO works and realistic timelines, how paid advertising generates leads, and the role of websites in conversion and revenue growth.

- Experience managing a CRM (GoHighLevel preferred).

- Disciplined pipeline management with accurate tracking and forecasting.

- Clear, confident spoken and written English.

- Self-motivated and effective in a remote environment.

- Performance-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

- Experience selling to contractors or home service businesses is considered an asset, but not required.
