The Role
As a Graphic Designer, you are primarily responsible for designing high-converting website mockups to be used by our web development team. In addition to other pages on a website, the Graphic Design will aid in various graphic design elements as needed for both our clients and the company. The bottom line function for this position is to design beautiful websites that are fully optimized with the user experience in mind and stay up to date with the latest trends.
Responsibilities Can Include:
- Conceptualize creative ideas with clients and gather client feedback to refine website design
- Design visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients
- Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices to communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Conceptualize, create storyboards, and design using different styles and approaches for deliverables as needed
- Assist in the creation of visual assets for various platforms, including social media, websites, print materials, and marketing campaigns
- Work with developers to improve user experience on existing websites
- Research industry trends and competitor activities to stay up-to-date with best practices
- Leverage user data and analytics to address usability issues and make strategic design and user-experience decisionsIdentify A/B testing opportunities, execute and optimize against results
- Use applied knowledge, available evidence, logical means, and processes to investigate and resolve problems with a high degree of accuracy.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Career-driven, self-motivated, and focused on growing within a high-performing agency by bringing new ideas and strategies to the table
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines
- Flexible and willing to adapt to change.Advanced knowledge of typography, layout, composition, and art direction
- Advanced knowledge of conversion rate optimizations in website designs
- Understanding of the design process beginning from conceptualization to development and creating mockups
- Minimum of 2 years of website graphic design experience in a digital marketing environment
- Experience and high level of proficiency using a variety of software packages, including all elements within Google Workspace, Figma, and related design applications
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Familiarity with ClickUp is a bonus.
